Stunning eco-house with a private hot tub

Having spent Christmas 2024 at Sarah’s place it was everything we wanted. A great well presented and spotless house with a fully equipped kitchen and the added bonus of a hot tub . A perfect location for the beach or for coastal walks and the local pub serves a fabulous Sunday roast! We would definitely return again.

We had a great time at Sarah’s place. The house was perfect for us, a family of 5 plus dog. I had a few questions before booking and Sarah got back to me straight away. Everything was super easy from check in to check out.

We had a great stay in Sarah’s place – the house is close to beautiful coastal walks, great beaches and the hot tub was a real treat to come back to after a cold day out. Totally lends itself to cold winter evenings. All in all we had a really lovely few days and would recommend it.

This is the third time we have stayed at Sarah’s house, we love the location which is walkable to the beach, local beach cafe and lovely pub. The house is always spotlessly clean , kitchen well equipped with everything you need , bedrooms and bathrooms are all perfect. It a lovely place to spend some relaxed time. We will definitely return

Sarah’s house is so perfect for a relaxing sea side break with the bonus of a hot tub! the house is immaculate , comfy and modern with plenty of indoor space. It comes fully equipped with everything that you need to be a real home from home. It is ideally situated and easy walking distance to the gorgeous Porthtowan beach. We would also highly recommend the Unicorn on the Beach pub in Porthtowan, the Sunday roast we had there was truly the best we’ve had for a long time. Sarah is a very friendly responsive host that provides all the info that you need ahead of time. We also really appreciated all the yummy goodies that she left for us when we arrived. We highly recommend and would certainly want to return in the future.

Had a great time with my family at Sarah’s house. It was super clean and check in was easy. Short walk into the village, which has a good pub and lovely beach. Lovely quiet complex , where you can really relax in the evening, with a dip in the hot tub. Would definitely return!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying in Sarah’s house. We were five (3 young adults and parents) and had enough space around us. The house is very light ( good on rainy days) and the living room is so large , two of us could do early morning yoga in it. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and the youngsters enjoyed the hot tub after their daily surfing. The beach in Porthtowan is breath-taking on low tide and we swam in the rock pool daily – what a treat ! The neighbourhood is very relaxed and everybody makes an effort to keep the noise down after 10 pm., we slept like babies. It takes about 4 minutes to walk to the beach . We would have loved to stay longer ! There are beautiful coastal walls to be taken straight from the house and beautiful sites to visit nearby. We’ll be back !

We had such a great stay at Sarah’s place in Porthtowan, can’t recommend it highly enough. The house is light, airy, modern and really well equipped. It was spotless when we arrived. We loved the hot tub and the beds were sooo comfortable! The location was perfect for us being a short walk down to a beautiful beach, kids’ play park, cafe, bar/restaurant and amazing ice cream shop. Short walk to get up onto the cliffs too for incredible views across the coast, especially worthwhile at sunset. Sarah is a brilliant host, always responded extremely quickly and was really helpful. We hope to come back again next year!

We had a fantastic time staying at Sarah’s place in Porthtowan. The house was immaculate throughout and it was obvious that the hot tub had been cleaned and refilled ready for our arrival. Location is perfect, we were there with our kids who are very active and all about the beach so being able to walk there in 10 mins or less was ideal. Hot tub was a delight. Also very much appreciated the treats that were there for our arrival, really makes a difference after a long journey!
Sarah was a fantastic host, quick to reply, very attentive, friendly, and really knows the area so was able to give great recommendations (thanks Sarah).
Would recommend and would visit again!

What an absolutely gorgeous week staying in Porthtowan. Sarah’s house is delightful and in such a great location.
The house is spacious, clean and we loved eating our breakfast on the balcony each morning.
Porthtowan is a lovely little find – I almost don’t want to tell anyone about it!! The Unicorn is a fantastic restaurant – lush food and the service is excellent. It has a lovely play park where our daughter made some friends!
The surf shop is super reasonable for hire and the little cafe next door serves excellent food at reasonable prices too.
Overall and excellent stay and a true gem in Cornwall 😊

We had a great stay in Porthtowan. Sarah’s place is well located, just a short walk to the beautiful beach.
It’s the perfect spot to escape to the sea with your loved ones. There is so much to do in the local area but we were also happy to spend the day at the beach on body boards and building sand castles. There are wonderful cliff walks and we really liked the Unicorn Restaurant beside the beach.
I highly recommend Sarah’s clean, spacious and perfectly positioned house.

An excellent place to stay and was even better than expected. Great value for money with a responsible and kind host. Going in April meant Porthtowan was quiet and was a delightful and relaxed getaway. A perfect place with lots to do e.g., surfing, walks and a great cider brewery down the road (Cuckoo Valley). Would more than happily stay again.

Just had a fantastic sunny week in Cornwall with my family, staying at Sarah’s house in Porthtowan. Absolutely gorgeous house – spotlessly clean, great decor & with everything we needed. Porthtowan itself is a wonderfully laid back surfing hamlet. Beautiful beach & with great walks either side. Our springer spaniel loved her holiday. Thoroughly recommend!

Had a lovely stay in Porthtowan the house is only a short walk from the beach. Perfect if you like to hike the coastal path or spend time in the sea. The house is nicely decorated and well equipped. We really enjoyed our stay.

A lovely, peaceful stay in Porthtowan. The accommodation was clean and spacious. We loved relaxing in the hot tub after walks along the beautiful coastal paths. Sarah was a great host, offering recommendations on places to go and left local treats for us to enjoy on arrival!
